ONENESS FOUNDATION IS A 501(c)(3) CORPORATION established in 2013. Our main focus is the introduction of Foster Care System and Foster Parenting as a modern to ending Child Homelessness and Alleviate Poverty in Nigeria and other African countries. Our objectives are streamlined to conform to the objectives of United Nations. We are working to achieve a global campaign for a sustainable foster care system initiative. Our giant stride is to give hope and foster dreams alongside building different categories of Group Homes to provide adequate housing, preserve human dignity, and promote continuity in care services to achieve wellness.

ONeNess Foundation gives children a chance of living a more dignified life and a better future through our global foster care initiative. We believe that foster parenting is more measured, achievable and gives children the opportunity to live in a least restrictive environment. Foster care guarantees children monitored access to Healthcare, Education, Safety & Security and other care services. Foster care is the only alternative to ending child homelessness.

KANO STATE; THE DAILY LIFE OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN

Foster care is the law that gives the VULNERABLE, POOR, and NEEDY alternative HOME. A home is not a HOUSE; a HOME needs a mother, father, siblings, relatives, neighbors, and real friends.

ONeNess Foundation has submitted a “BILL OF LEGISLATION” to Nigeria National Assembly to both the House of Representative and House of Senate to ENACT AN ACT for FOSTER CARE COMMISSION. In view of our case study which Nigeria is used, we have been able to establish volunteers and State coordinators in the 36 states of the country including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

ONeNess Foundation will Regulate, Monitor, and Transform the various Motherless Babies centers and Maternity centers in Nigeria into a warm and smaller family oriented environments.

Foster care system is a notable avenue to empower women while creating vast rural and urban gainful employment. Globally, foster care provides for the orphans and the vulnerable children in the society a safe home environment where, they are well cared for without discrimination and intimidation. A good legalized foster care system promotes inclusiveness, love, growth, empowerment and reduces poverty.
